Local theatre production wins Regional Festival
A Lethbridge local and Playgoers member along with students from the University of Lethbridge won the Chinook Regional One Act Festival presented by Alberta Drama Festival Association (ADFA).
On March 29 & 30, Mary-Lynn Muhly presented “The Zoo Story” as part of the Chinook Region One-Act Play Festival hosted by Playgoers of Lethbridge. The Zoo Story was chosen as best play. This was submitted by the Lethbridge Shakespeare Performance Society and was directed by Mary-Lynn and featured actors were Cole Fetting and Josh Hammerstedt. Tyler Strang was stage manager.
The play will be presented at the Provincial Festival in High River on May 3rd and 4th.
